Call for Volunteers

We are in need of volunteers to help make EMC+SIPI 2025 run as smoothly as possible. Previous year’s volunteers have made the event a success. You must be 18 to volunteer.

We welcome new and past volunteers to help with the following positions:

• Help with Registration
• Collect tickets and direct traffic at the Welcome Reception, Gala Events and Awards Luncheon
• Host Poster Papers
• Monitor Exhibit Hall Demonstrations
• Monitor Technical Papers, Workshops, and Tutorials
• Other volunteer opportunities (Youth Technical Program, etc.)

Participating as a volunteer has some great perks!

As a volunteer you will receive:

• An opportunity to connect with other peers and industry professionals
• Food and beverages during your hours of service
• Free Symposium polo shirt
• Every 4 hours you volunteer allows you 4 hours to attend a session at the symposium
• You also have access to the exhibit hall the same day you volunteer
• Local residents may have access to limited free parking pass for the day you volunteer, please ask our coordinators for more information.

• If you already registered for the EMC-SIPI symposium please complete the Smartsheet.
• If you are not registering for the conference you must complete a volunteer registration form and complete the Smartsheet.

Call for Musicians
Musicians are invited/needed to perform with the EMC Society Band in the Raleigh Convention Center Tuesday August 19 and Wednesday August 20, 12:00 noon to 1:00 PM. Possible rehearsal dates are Sunday August 17 and Monday August 18. If interested, contact Jeff Silberberg at [email protected].
